Account & Data Deletion
1. Overview
This page describes the procedure for users of Cosmic Cat Tarot to request deletion of their account and associated data. In compliance with Google Play policies, we guarantee the right to permanently delete your account and all data collected with it.
2. How to Request Deletion
The fastest method is in-app self-service deletion. If you cannot log in, you may request deletion by email.
Method A. In-App Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the app → My Page (top-right profile)
- Tap the trash icon labeled "Delete account"
- Confirm the prompt → your account and app data are processed for deletion immediately.
Method B. Email Request (If You Cannot Log In)
- Send an email from the Google account email address you used to sign up:

Account Deletion Request - Include in the body:
- Your Google sign-in email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- After confirmation, your account and related data will be permanently deleted within 14 days.
3. Data That Will Be Deleted
The following data is permanently deleted upon request or processing completion:
- Account information: user ID, email, name, profile picture (Google sign-in data)
- Reading history: your questions, AI-generated tarot interpretations, card-selection history
- Preferences: zodiac sign, birth date, notification settings
- Subscription status: premium subscription record (active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Google Play)
- Usage records: daily usage counters, abuse-detection counters
4. Data Retained (Legally Required)
Some data must be retained for a specific period under applicable law:

This data is automatically deleted when the retention period ends. It is stored separately from identifying information and used only for statistical or legal purposes.
5. Processing Timeline
- In-app self-service deletion: processed immediately after confirmation
- Email acknowledgement: within 3 business days
- Email request deletion: within 14 days of receipt
6. Active Subscribers
If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it in Google Play before requesting account deletion. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription, and billing may continue until the next billing date.
- Cancel subscription: Google Play → Menu → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → "Cosmic Cat Tarot" → Cancel subscription
